"Chronicles Bible Book"

"Importance of the 2 Chronic books in the Bible"

"The 2 books of Chronicles in the Holy Bible explain how the succession of the Kingdom of the Judah tribe was maintained by the inheritance of succession by Blood "

Adam, Seth, Enosh,
Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jared,
Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
Abram, the same is Abraham.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.

And Abraham begot Isaac.
The sons of Isaac: Esau and Jacob (Israel).

These are the sons of Israel [or, Jacob]:

Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher ( The 12 Israel's tribes, or Jacob's sons

The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, which three were born unto him by the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty; and He slew him.
And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and ZerahAll the sons of Judah were five.
The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
The sons also of Hezron who were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai. And Ram ( In the New Testament, his name is given as "Aram" (Ἀράμ) and "Arni" (Ἀρνὶ).) begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah; and Nahshon begot Salma (Salmon), and Salma begot Boaz; and Boaz begot Obed (Ruth's son), and Obed begot JesseAnd Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third, Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth, Ozem the sixth, David the seventh!
Now these were the sons of David who were born unto him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelitess; the third, Absalom, the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, the son of Haggith; the fifth, Shephatiah by Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife. These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four by Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel.

And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam; Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son, Joram his son, Ahaziah (or Uzziah) his son, Joash (or Jotham)his son, Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son, Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son, Amon his son, Josiah his sonAnd the sons of Josiah were the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah (Jechonias) his son, Zedekiah his son. And the sons of Jeconiah: Assir, Shealtiel (Salathiel) his son, Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. And the sons of Pedaiah were Zerubbabel and Shimei; and the sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister; and Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushabhesed, five. And the sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah. And the son of Shechaniah, Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six. And the sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three. And the sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.

Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father’s stead in Jerusalem. Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And the king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and levied upon the land a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother and carried him to Egypt.
Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem; and he did that which was evil in the sight of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) his Almighty.
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters to carry him to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar also carried part of the vessels of the house of the Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah; and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead. Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem; and he did that which was evil in the sight of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) AlmightyAnd when the year had expired, King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babylon with the goodly vessels of the house of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) his Almighty, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet who spoke from the mouth of the YHVH (YEHOVAH).
And he also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty; but he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart from turning unto the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty of Israel.
Moreover all the chief of the priests and the people transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen, and polluted the house of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty which He had hallowed in Jerusalem. And the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty of their fathers sent to them by His messengers, rising up early, and sending, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty, and despised His words, and misused His prophets, until the wrath of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty arose against His people, till there was no remedy. Therefore He brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped with age; He gave them all into his hand. And all the vessels of the house of YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty and the treasures of the king and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon. And they burned the house of YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all the palaces thereof with fire and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof. And those who had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia, to fulfill the word of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths; for as long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill threescore and ten years.
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and put it also in writing, saying,
So saith Cyrus king of Persia:
"All the kingdoms of the earth has the Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) of heaven given me; and He has charged me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all His people?
The YHVH (YEHOVAH) his Almighty be with him, and let him go up

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Jesus of Nazareth (Messiah/Christ) are fourteen generations.

"End of the Israel and Judah kingdom"

And the king of Assyria carried away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, because they obeyed not the voice of the YHVH (YEHOVAH) their ALMIGHTY
But transgressed His covenant and all that Moses the servant of
the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH)
commanded,
and would not hear,
them nor do them.
2 Kings 17

And the king commanded all the people, saying,
 “Keep the Passover unto
the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) your Almighty,
as it is written in the Book of this Covenant”

Surely there was not held such a Passover from the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel nor of the kings of Judah, but in the eighteenth year of King Josiah wherein this Passover was held to the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) in Jerusalem.
Moreover the workers with familiar spirits and the wizards, and the images and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH).
And like unto him was there no king before him, who turned to the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
Notwithstanding,
The KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) turned not from the fierceness of His great wrath, wherewith His anger was kindled against Judah because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him.
And the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) said,
“I will remove Judah also out of My sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen and the house of which I said, ‘My Name shall be there’”

Surely at the commandment of the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) came this upon Judah, to remove them out of His sight for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did, and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) would not pardon.

"Division of the 12 tribes of Israel"

And the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty of Israel, which had appeared unto him twiceand had commanded him concerning this thing, that he  should not go after other gods:
But he (Jeroboam) kept not that which the YHVH (YEHOVAH) KING Almighty commanded.

Wherefore the KING Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) said unto Solomon, Forasmuch (seeing that) as this is done of you, and you has not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely rend the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.
Notwithstanding in your days I will not do it for David your father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy sonHowever I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to your son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.

And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon’s servant, whose mother’s name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king. And this was the cause that he lifted up his hand against the king: Solomon built Millo, and repaired the breaches of the city of David his father. And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valor: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph. And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field: and Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces: and he said to Jeroboam:

Take you ten pieces: for so says the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH), the Almighty of Israel

Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to you: (but he shall have one tribe for my servant David’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:) because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keepmy statutes and my judgments, as did David his father However I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant’s sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutesbut I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribesAnd unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put My Name there And I will take you, and you shalt reign according to all that your soul desires, and shalt be king over Israel. And it shall be, if you wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto youAnd I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever. Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.

And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam (Solomon's son), saying
" You father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of your father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve you. And he (Rehoboam) said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed.
And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do you advise that I may answer this people?  And they spake unto him, saying,
"If you wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them,
and answer them,
and speak good words to them,
then they will be your servants
forever".
But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with himand which stood before him: and he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter? And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s loins. And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed, saying, Come to me again the third day.  And the king answered the people roughly, and forsook the old men’s counsel that they gave himand spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty, that he might perform his saying, which the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) Almighty spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents. But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them. Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
So Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.
And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.

Whereupon the king (Jeroboam) took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt. And he set the one in Beth-el, and the other put he in DanAnd this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.  And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi. And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Beth-el, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Beth-el the priests of the high places which he had made. So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Beth-el the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.

And, behold, there came a man of Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) KING out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Beth-el: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. And he cried against the altar in the word of the Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) KING, and said,
"O altar, altar, so says the Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) KING; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon you shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon youAnd he gave a sign the same day, saying,
"This isthe sign which the Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) KING has spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of Almighty YHVH (YEHOVAH) KING, which had cried against the altar in Beth-el, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to himThe altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of Almighty had given by the word of the KING yHVH (YEHOVAH).
And the king (Jeroboam) answered and said unto the man of YHVH (YEHOVAH), Entreat now the face of the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH) your Almighty, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of YHVH (YEHOVAH) besought the KING YHVH (YEHOVAH), and the king’s hand was restored him again, and became as it was before
And the king said unto the man of YHVH (YEHOVAH), Come home with me, and refresh yourself, and I will give thee a reward.
And the man of YHVH (YEHOVAH)Almighty said unto the king, "If you wilt give me half your house, I will not go in with you, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place.

After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places. And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
